This year’s RSE conference will be all about Our People, Our Story, addressing not only the RSE scheme but the wider seasonal and permanent workforce required to keep our industry growing.
This year the RSE Conference will be held on 16 & 17 August 2018 and staged at ASB Baypark in Mount Maunganui, which can easily host the 180+ delegates we expect. The conference attracts RSE employers and their HR staff, delegates of the New Zealand government involved in seasonal and permanent workforce solutions, delegates of most of the Pacific Island national who are part of the RSE scheme, and New Zealand and overseas academics with an interest in short- and long term workforce solutions.

Accommodation: This document provides some accommodation options at various price points.
The conference is being held at ASB Baypark Arena, which is a short drive from central Tauranga. The document shows the travel times between each accommodation supplier and the venue. Some of these sites are in Tauranga and others in Mt Maunganui.
One of the accommodation options listed, the Trinity Wharf in Tauranga, is the venue of the gala dinner on the evening of 16 August. You can use this booking form to secure accommodation at the Trinity Wharf.
All accommodation needs to be booked directly with the provider. Please note rooms are not being held for the event.
Buses will be arranged each day between the ASB Baypark and Tauranga and Mt Maunganui, with specified pick-up points.
Closer to the time we will be in touch again to find out:
1) where you are staying,
2) any dietary requirements, and
3) whether you will be on the field trips.
We are working hard on the field trips programme, and more information will be provided when these have been finalised.
The programme will be emailed out prior to the event, and available in hard copy in your conference packs on the day.
