Changes to Covid test drop off and testing site locations near Pukekohe

This is the latest information provided by the Ministry of Transport, as at Thursday 23 September. 

Drop off

The campervan at the Te Hana Waitomo site will only be located there on Thursday 23 September and Friday 24 September, after which the site will move across the road to the petrol station. Operating hours are: 24/7 for drop off and 7am to 8pm for the collection of kits. 
    
The campervan at the Waitomo Bombay site has moved to 1125 Great South Road, Runciman 2578 (Drury Exit) as of today, Thursday 23 September.  The campervan will operate from 0700 to 1900 each day.

Testing

There is a testing site at Hampton Downs today for nasal swabs, at Gate 3 from 9am to 3.30pm.   

Swab testing is also available via GPs, after-hours clinics and community testing centres. For a list of testing locations, please go to Healthpoint. 
 

Reminder about documentation

Please make sure essential workers have all the necessary documents ready to show the Police, if stopped at a checkpoint: 

• proof of ID
• evidence of permitted travel
• proof of a test having been carried out in the last seven days.
